It WAS THE SPRING OF 1997…
Tony & Abby could not find a pizza in Toronto that offered fresh, wholesome nutrition.
So they went searching the west coast where all things were more natural.
Covering over 8,000 miles from the top of California to almost Mexico, they ate a lot of pizza.
At Carmel-by-the-Sea in the Café Napoli they had a Eureka! Experience.
This pizza was different, delicious and unrefined.
Tony and Abby knew this was what they needed to create in Toronto.
It was incredibly fresh and made with the finest quality ingredients. It looked great and it was delicious.
It was not a traditional pizza at all – it was wholesome, natural and unlike anything they had ever eaten in Canada.
This was Real Food.
This was truly different.
The leisurely meal in California became the inspiration for Magic Oven.
